The Wildlife Institute of India (WII) is an internationally acclaimed Institution that works towards strengthening wildlife conservation and management through capacity building, research, academics and advisory services. The institute is actively engaged in research across the breadth of the country on biodiversity-related issues. WII invites applications from INDIAN NATIONALS for 13 contractual positions of research/project personnel under various research projects.

Wildlife Institute of India Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

• WII/Project Scientist – I – The aspirants who have done the PhD degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ etc subjects can apply for this WII post.
• Senior Project Associate– The aspirants who have done the master’s degree in Natural Sciences with 4 Years of experience can apply for this WII post.
• Project Associate-I – The aspirants who have done the master’s degree in Natural Sciences can apply for this WII post.
• Project Assistant – The aspirants who have a graduation degree in Science can apply for this WII post.
• Scientific Administrative Assistant– The aspirants who have done the graduation degree can apply for this WII post.

Age Limit

Application Fee

An Application Fee of Rs. 500/- for the applicant(s) belonging to General Category shall have to be deposited through an online mode. However, category candidate(s) belongs to SC/ST/OBC/EWS (Non-General Category) and Physically Challenged (PC) are exempted from the said Application Fee but shall have to pay Rs.100/- as ‘Application Processing’ Fee and, the same shall be payable through online/electronic mode.
