NMMS Scholarship 2024: Applications are invited for the Central Sector Scheme “National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) Examination” (2024-25) to be conducted by SCERT, Solan (H.P.) on 10-11-2024 at 65 examinations centers of the state. In this scheme a scholarship of ~ I 000/- per month is awarded to 832 students of Himacl:ial Pradesh provided they fulfil minimum eligibility conditions in NMMSS examination.

केंद्रीय क्षेत्र योजना “राष्ट्रीय साधन एवं योग्यता छात्रवृत्ति योजना परीक्षा ” 2024-25 के लिए आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं जिसमें हिमाचल प्रदेश के 832 विद्यार्थियों को चार वर्षों, अर्थात कक्षा 9 से 12 तक प्रति माह रु 1000/-की छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान की जाती है। इसके पात्र विद्यार्थियों के चयन हेतु राज्य-स्तरीय चयन परीक्षा 10-11-2024 को प्रदेश के 65 केन्द्रों पर आयोजित की जाएगी।

NMMS Scholarship 2024-25 Overview

NMMS Scholarship 2024-25 : Eligibility Criteria

1. Any student, studying in class VI II in a Govt. /Local Body /95% Govt-aided private school for the session 2024-25, whose parental annual income from all sources is not more than Rs. Three Lakh Fifty Thousand only (3,50,000/-) is eligible to appear in this exam. Candidates have to attach relevant income certificate from competent authority in standard formats.
2. He/She must have scored at least 55% marks in class VII. There is, however, a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST students. Candidates applying under reserved categories have to attach relevant certificates from competent authority in standard formats.
3. The candidates applying under PCG category (Physically Challanged Group) will have to attach relevant certificates from competent authority in standard formats.
4. He/She will be awarded the scholarship for the next four years i.e. Class IX to XII, only if he/she continues to study in a Govt. /Local Body /95% Govt-aided-private school.
5. The awardees should get minimum of 60% marks in class X for continuation of scholarship (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates) in next higher classes. For continuing the scholarship in class X and XII , the
   awardees should get clear promotion from class IX to class X and from class XI to class XII in the first
   attempt

पात्रता के नियम एवं शर्तें:

1. किसी भी सरकारी स्कूल / 95% सरकारी सहायता प्राप्त निजी स्कूल के सत्र 2024-25 में कक्षा 8 में पढ़ रहा कोई भी विद्यार्थी जिसके माता- पिता की सभी स्रोतों से वार्षिक आय तीन लाख पचास हजार रूपये (3,50,000/-) से अधिक न हो, आवेदन कर सकता है। आवेदन करने वाले उम्मीदवार छात्रों को मानक प्रारूपों में सक्षम प्राधिकारी से प्रासंगिक आय प्रमाण पत्र संलग्न करना होगा।
2. सामान्य श्रेणी के विद्यार्थी ने सातवी कक्षा मे कम से कम 55% अंक प्राप्त किए हों। अनुसूचित जाति / अनुसूचित जनजाति के विद्यार्थियों को अंकों में 5% की छूट दी जाएगी।

नोटः आरक्षित श्रेणी के तहत आवेदन करने वाले उम्मीदवार छात्रों को मानक प्रारूपों में सक्षम प्राधिकारी से प्रासंगिक प्रमाण पत्र संलग्न करना होगा।

3. विकलांग वर्ग की श्रेणी के तहत आवेदन करने वाले उम्मीदवार छात्रों को मानक प्रारूपों में सक्षम प्राधिकारी से प्रासंगिक प्रमाण पत्र संलग्न करना होगा।
4. केवल उन्हीं चयनित विद्यार्थियों को अगले चार वर्षों (कक्षा 9 से 12 तक) के लिए छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान की जाएगी जो किसी सरकारी स्कूल / 95% सरकारी सहायता प्राप्त निजी स्कूल में पढ़ेंगे।
5. अगली उच्च कक्षाओं में छात्रवृत्ति जारी रखने के लिए छात्रवृत्ति प्राप्त करने वाले छात्र को दसवीं कक्षा में न्यूनतम 60% अंक प्राप्त करने होंगे। (अनुसूचित जाति / अनुसूचित जनजाति के उम्मीदवारों के लिए 5% की छूट है) दसवीं और बारहवीं कक्षा में छात्रवृत्ति जारी रखने के लिए, छात्रवृत्ति प्राप्त करने वाले छात्र को पहले प्रयास में कक्षा IX से कक्षा X और कक्षा XI से कक्षा XII तक स्पष्ट पदोन्नति मिलनी चाहिए।

NMMS Scholarship 2024-25 : Examination will comprise of two tests :

Qualifying Criterion: At the time of selection for the award of scholarship the student must pass both the tests i.e MAT and SAT with at least 40% marks in aggregate taken together for these two tests for general category. For the reserved category this cut off will be 32% marks.

Examination Fee: No Examination fee will be charged for the examination.
