HP JBT Result 2024 : Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Elementary Education has released the list of candidates selected for the posts of JBT teachers on the basis of counseling. Counseling was conducted by the department in November 2023 for batchwise recruitment (contract basis) of JBT. Candidates have been selected for JBT posts on the basis of merit under the respective districts, the order of preference given by them for the districts.
Appointment orders of selected candidates are being issued separately by the respective Deputy Directors of Elementary Education. According to the Directorate, the result of 1122 selected candidates has been declared for a total of 1161 posts advertised by the department on 11 October 2023.

10 posts (2 OBC WFF and 8 SC WFF) could not be filled due to non-availability of suitable candidates. The result of 29 posts (Unreserved-13, EWS-6, SC-6, SC BPL-1, OBC-2 and ST-1) has been reserved in view of the order of the Hon’ble High Court in CWP No. 9043 of 2023 and CWP No. 9032 and 9035 of 2023.
According to the Directorate, although all care has been taken in preparing the result, the possibility of inadvertent error / technical error cannot be ruled out. The Director of Elementary Education has the right to correct it at any time. For appointment order and other information, the selected candidates can contact the office of Deputy Director of Elementary Education of the concerned district.
