Education Qualifications
SRF Master Degree in Biotechnology / Plant Molecular Biology/Plant Biochemistry/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Molecular Breeding / Life Sciences / Bioinformatics from recognized Institute / University with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s Degree.
OR
Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of OM No. (ICAR experience research as per Edn./6/27/2014/HRD, dated 13th July, 2015, OM No. Agril. Edn./6/27/2014-HRD, dated 9th October, 2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30th January 2019).

How to Apply for CPRI Shimla SRF Notification 2024
Interested and eligible candidates may download the prescribed proforma of application from Institute website (https://cpri.icar.gov.in) and submit application along with all enclosures { i.e. self attested copies of: 1) educational qualification from 10th onwards, 2) copies of relevant experience, 3) publications, 4) copy of residential proof & identity proof (preferably Aadhar Card etc.)} to the Asstt. Admn. Officer (Establishment), ICAR-CPRI, Shimla in- person or by post on or before 04.11.2024. In absence of Certificates and Degree (Provisional / Original), applications will not be considered at any level.
The candidate appearing for interview must bring all the original certificates with them and only those candidates possessing essential qualification as per the advertisement will be interviewed. The Director, CPRI, Shimla reserves the right to either fill up the post or cancel the interview without assigning any reasons thereof. No TA/DA will be given by the Institute to candidates.
The Institute is located at Bemloe which is about 2 kms from Main Bus stand (Old) / 3 kms. from the Railway Station and about 5 Kms. from ISBT (Tutikandi), Shimla.
